This past Monday, Jeremy participated in his school spelling bee. We were really excited that he qualified for this. There were 15 other students in the 3-5 grades that participated. The picture above is of all the 5th graders that participated.

Oops! My heart sank little when he added that extra "a" to the word, and he was really disappointed when they told him that he had spelled it incorrectly, but we are really proud of him for getting up there and doing this.
The whole spelling bee lasted 12 rounds and, if you look at the first picture in this post, the girl in the middle was the winner and the girl next to her in the orange shirt was the runner up. It was fun to be a part of this night.
