As most of you know, Max started Kindergarten this year. In Kindergarten there are 35 sight words that the kids are supposed to learn. They get flash cards to practice with and the idea is that you can flip through the cards and they can say them right away without having to think about them too long.
Max has been working hard to learn them and yesterday he passed them all off with his teacher. When the students do this they become sight word king and queens. So Max is now a Sight Word King. He is so excited and we are excited for him.
After Family Home Evening last night we took him to Baskin Robbins to celebrate his accomplishment. His eyes ended up being bigger than his stomach, so he didn't quite finish all the ice cream, but he had fun and we are so proud of him!

Yeah Max! What Brian eating ice cream- was it not fat sherbet or something! Haha!
