Here they are all ready to go on the first day. We have a tradition of measuring their height on the first day of school and marking it on the wall. So we did that again yesterday. Jeremy was 47 1/2 inches tall and Nicole was 42 inches. This year we got to mark Max on the wall too and he measured 32 inches.
This is Nicole's teacher, Mrs. Gates. Mrs Gates was Jeremy's Kindergarten teacher and we really love her. We were really happy when we found out that Nicole was going to be in her class. We do not have all day Kindergarten here yet, so Nicole goes in the morning from 8:30 - 11:10. She is really excited to be able to ride the bus with her big brother.
This is Jeremy with his teacher, Mrs. Kaase (pronounced Caus - eee). This was the teacher that he was hoping to get. He has 3 friends from his class last year in his class this year and is looking forward to making more friends.
Mom took the kids to school on the first day, but today they got to ride the bus. This is Nicole's first experience on the school bus and she reports that is was great fun. Jeremy was a good big brother and sat next to her and helped her find where she needed to go once they got to school. It should be a good school year and hopefully we will make a good transition as we move to Houston.
Brian had a birthday on August 6th. Here he is blowing out the candles on his cake. He was spoiled with new clothes and electronics that he wanted.
Now a little update on the house. We have not sold our house yet. We had quite a bit of traffic last we and we actually had an offer, but the people had not even put their house on the market yet. So we have told them that we can not do a contract on contigency. If they want to do it without we will do that, or if they want to get their house sold and come back to see if our house is still available, we will deal then. Consequently we are still showing our home and hoping that someone will come in with a good offer soon. Someone came and looked this afternoon and I am hoping that we will have more showings between today and Sunday (those seem to be the biggest traffic days) and that someone will make a great offer that we cannot refuse. We will keep you posted on that too.
Until the next posting I hope you are all well. Take care and we will talk to you soon.
Jeri

I love the smiles your kids plaster on their faces for pictures. They get that from their dad!
