Finally! Christmas Pictures

It has taken me several weeks to get back to some sense of normal. I am not completely there, but I have finally taken a few minutes to load my Christmas pictures to the computer and create a post.

This year, Christmas was done in parts for us. The first part was the home Christmas. We did this on December 20th before we left on our trip to visit family. We opened presents that we got for each other. The kids got a lot of fun things. Jeremy and Nicole got new chairs for their rooms and paint for their bedrooms (Stay tuned for pictures of the finished products). They also got some clothes, calendars and a few other things. Max got some fun play things. He got cars and blocks and games. Dad got some much needed pants and shirts and Mom got a new toaster, hand mixer, pajamas and shirts. Everyone had fun. Here are a few pictures from the home Christmas.

Kind of a blurry picture but, here are the kids.

Max and his Mega Blocks!

The day after we did our home Christmas was the kids' last day of school before break and the day that we left on our trip. Both Jeremy and Nicole had parties at school and the first graders (Nicole) made gingerbread houses.

Here is a picture of Nicole with her gingerbread house.

The first stop on our trip (And the second part of our Christmas) was at Grandma and Grandpa Crandall's house. We stayed there over night. On Saturday morning the kids got to make pancakes with Grandpa (one of their favorite things to do when we visit there). Then they got to open more presents. This time they were the presents from Grandma and Grandpa Crandall and from cousins.

Grandma made each of the kids these nice warm blankets. The kids love them. Max wants his most everyday for his nap. Jeremy got the Harry Potter series of books which he has been looking forward to for quite some time. Both Jeremy and Nicole got MP3 players. They were very excited. Max got lots of cars and some fun games. There were other things too, and they were very happy and excited. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Crandall.
The next stop (and the last part of our Christmas) was at Grandma and Grandpa Brough's house. We got to go to church with them and see our friends that we left in Oklahoma. It was fun to see everyone. I miss them all a lot. On Christmas eve we made cookies like we always do. I didn't get any pictures of that because I was busy making them. Then we had dinner and acted out the nativity. We opened presents from Grandma and Grandpa and the kids got some fun things. Jeremy got a Nerf gun that he loves, Nicole got kits to weave hot pads and make friendship bracelets, she love them! Max got a Deigo Rescue Center mega block building kit that he loves to play with. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Brough. Then it was time for Santa to come. So everyone had to go to bed. Santa was good to the kids and they got a lot of fun things.

Here we are around the Christmas tree.

Christmas morning before the kids came out.

Max with his loot! He loves his tool bench.

Nicole with hers. Her favorite thing was her digtal camera! She had us all posing for pictures. Watch out blogging world, here she comes!

Jeremy and his stuff. He got a skateboard that he got to put together with his dad. He really likes it.
We had a great Christmas and a nice visit with our families. We hope that you all had a great Christmas.
