This is a picture of Max and his little friend Faith. They play together a lot and they always do what the other is doing. A few days ago we were playing outside and there were puddles along the sides of the road near the curbs. We were getting ready to go in and suddenly we realized that these two were sticking their heads in the puddles and then lying down in the water. They thought it was hillarious. Faith's mom and I talked to each of them and asked them not to do it and explained why we didn't want them to do it. Then we had them start helping us clean up the toys to go inside. The mom's turned their backs for a minute the two of them were back in the water. The big kids weren't helping either because they were laughing at them and encouraging them to do it more. We finally got them to stop and took them straight to their baths, but of course we had to take pictures first.
Two days later, Max was playing outside and he started doing it again. Fortunately Brian caught him before it got too bad, but we did have to bring him in and change his clothes. What's a little more laundry, right?!
