My cousin Joel is in town this week, so last night we picked him up from his hotel and went to dinner at the Cracker Barrel. Those of you familiar with this restaurant know that this is a fun place. They have a store in the front of the restaurant, peg games on the tables and places for you to play checkers and sit in rocking chairs. Jeremy couldn't wait to play a game with Joel. So as soon as we were done ordering he pulled Joel over to the closest checker board he could find.
After we ate, we went outside and Nicole and Max got a chance to play a game with him too. The kids had a great time. Joel was a good sport and thanks to him the kids beat him in each of their games.
We had a good time visiting with Joel and wish that we had had more time to visit. If any of you are ever in the Houston area, please make sure you call us. We would love to see you.

Too cute Jeri! Joel must not be very good at checkers if Max can beat him J/k! Looks like a blast. I will have to try that restaurant- I have never been.
