HAPPY 2009!

Well, the new year has begun! This year promises to be exciting! We are looking forward to two big birthdays Nicole will turn 8 and be baptized this year and I will be the big 40! I don't know how I got this old!

Before the kids returned to school after Winter break, we took a family excursion to The Woodlands, TX. We had a lot of fun! We played at the Eploration Station which is an extension of the Houston Museum of Natural History. Then we took them on the Merry Go Round and last, but not least, we took them on the water taxi which took us around the water ways there. I think everyone had a good time. It was fun to do something different. We were getting tired of hanging out at home.

Looking up through the "ice" in the penguin exhibit.

This last picture is of Max on his first day of Primary as a Sunbeam. He is so excited to be a big boy and go with the big kids to class. We love his enthusiasm and we are glad that he enjoys going to church and to his class.
We hope that everyone had a good holiday and that the new year will be a great one for you!
