Our Cruise!

Hello Everyone!

Brian and I just got back from a fun 5 day trip. While we were gone Grandma Crandall came and stayed with the kids (Grandpa came for a few days too and they loved it!) It was fun to be together and know that the kids were taken care of. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa.

We flew out Thursday morning and got to Los Angeles about 11:30am. We collected our luggage and then rented a car and drove to the Los Angeles Temple. We were able to spend time there and it was really nice. Neither one of us had ever been to this temple and it was beautiful. We were glad we were able to go.

Looking up at the temple. It sits at the top of a big hill and can be seen from far away.

After we left the temple we drove up Santa Monica Blvd. towards Beverly Hills and Hollywood. We found the Hollywood sign and we drove up Hollywood Blvd. It was fun to see some of the sights.

Here is the Kodak theatre on Hollywood Blvd. We didn't get out and walk because we wanted to get to Santa Monica Pier before it got to dark.

Here I am standing on the Pier. It was very beautiful. It was also very windy and kind of chilly. We enjoyed walking on the pier and on the beach. We ate at Bubba Gumps Shrimp Company. It was fun.

Here is Brian on the pier.

Brian took this picture as the sun was starting to go down. We enjoyed our day in Los Angeles although we were exhausted by the end of the day. We got a good nights sleep and woke up the next day ready to go to the port to board our ship.

Here is a picture of us standing in front of our ship. This is on Saturday morning when we got off in Mexico. We got to spend the day exploring Ensenada, Mexico.

One of the places we went was called La Bufadora. It is a natural phenomon where water is blown up into the air 60-100 feet. It was fun to watch. Above is a picture of the water blowing up out of the hole.

Here we are with the water blowing up behind us.

This picture was taken near the observation deck of La Bufadora. The water was beautiful.

Here is the street that we shopped on in Ensenada.

Here is Brian back on the ship with the lifesaver over his head. This was taken just before the ship left the port in Mexico. We watched them drop the ropes and pull out of port. It was fun to watch, but it was very windy and cold.

This was taken right before dinner on the last night of the cruise. The sunset was beautiful. It was a great time and we hope we get to do it again sometime.

Anthony says maybe he should go into sales so we can go on a cruise too.
