What We Did Last Weekend

We have needed to clean out our garage. We had boxes that had not been looked at since we moved in two and a half years ago. So the Saturday before Memorial day we started cleaning out. In the process we decided that we needed to build some shelves. We were fortunate that our neighbor had some wood that he was going to throw out and he let us have some of it. It was the perfect size for the shelves. On Monday, Brian went and bought the brackets and after hanging out with some friend at a BBQ, he built the shelves and we were able to get things up off the garage floor and I can even pull my van in now. The only thing we need now is to fix our garage door opener so it is easier to get the van in and out.

We still need some organization, but it is much better than it was.
While Brian was finishing the shelves, the boys were playing basketball. Max's ball went rolling down the driveway and he went after it. On the way down, he fell and rolled down the driveway. His nose got the worst of it. Here is a picture of what it looked like the morning after.

The picture below shows what it looks like today.

Just a few minutes ago he came in crying and the basketball had hit his nose and broken the top scab. It was bleeding again, so we had to fix him up. So now he has a bandaid where that top scab was. I hope this doesn't leave a scar!

Your garage looks great! We have a bit more to organize too - it seems like a never ending battle. Poor Max, hope his nose is better soon.

Poor little guy! Will he let you put neosporin on it? That might help it not scar.
Good job on your garage. Its always nice to be able to use your garage for actual parking!
