Haircut, Babysitter and Building

Nicole has been wanting her hair cut for a while. She said that she wanted it short like mom's, but we cut it to just above her shoulders and she loves it. It really isn't that dramatically different, but she hasn't had it like this for a while, so she is happy which is all that matters. She got to go to Cool Cuts 4 Kids and they let her sit in the fire truck this time, so that was another perk for her.

Obviously the picture above is from the back. Below,
she is showing off her new doo.

Last saturday we left the kids with a babysitter for the first time since we have moved here. We came home to find all three of the kids asleep in the gameroom. This was not the fault of the babysitter. Max would not settle down in his crib, Jeremy decided is was too hot in his room and because the other two were in the gameroom, Nicole couldn't sleep in her bed, she had to be out with all the others.

On the second Saturday of every month, Lowe's does a kids building project. The kids get Lowe's aprons and they get to wear safety goggles and build a project. Once the project is complete they recieve a patch to go on their apron and a certificate. Jeremy and Nicole really enjoy it and last Saturday they got to make boats. We have painted them, but I didn't have a picture of the completed projects yet. I will have to post those later.
